Spain can extract revenge for their 2002 World Cup exit when they take on South Korea in a friendly in Innsbruck on Thursday.
La Furia Roja were beaten by Korea in the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup on penalties. They also had a perfectly legitimate golden goal from Fernando Morientes disallowed in extra time. The current Spanish squad has only three survivors from that game- goalkeeper Iker Casillas, defender Carles Puyol and midfielder Xavi.
